Pneumothorax
Etymology:
Gr. pneumo: "air" + Gr. thorax: "chest"
Definition:
A pneumothorax is an abnormal collection of air in the pleural space between the lung and the chest wall usually do to a traumatic injury. It is often referrex to as a "collapsed lung".
