Keratoderma blennorrhagica

Etymology:

Etymologically meaning keratinized (kerato-) + skin (derma-) + mucousy (blenno-) + discharge (-rrhagia). Refer to fractured word components alone for specific etymologies.

Definition:

Psoriasiform and vesicular pustular lesions of the palms and soles, seen in association with reactive arthritis. The appearance is usually of a vesico-pustular waxy lesion with a yellow brown color. These lesions may join to form larger crusty plaques with desquamating edges.
