Denticulate
Etymology:
Definition:
L. denticulus: “small tooth”
Bearing many small toothlike structures. A common example in anatomy includes the denticulate ligaments (also known as dentate ligaments), which are lateral projections of the spinal pia mater forming triangular-shaped/toothlike ligaments that anchor the spinal cord along its length to the dura mater on each side.
