Craniosynostosis

Gr. krāníon: “skull”+ Gr. sún: “with, in company with, together with” + Gr. ostéon: “bone” + Gr. ōsis: “state, abnormal condition, or action”

A medical condition in which some or all of the sutures in the skull bone of an infant close together or fuse too early, causing problems with normal brain and skull growth.
