Biceps brachii
Etymology:
L. bi-: "two" + L. -ceps: "heads" + L. brachii: "of the arm"
Definition:
The biceps brachii is a muscle of the arm with two proximal tendons (hence the name) converging into one distal one. The clarifier "brachii" is added to avoid confusion with the biceps femoris, one of the hamstrings muscles.
